Hi, I'm Declan Davis

I am a web developer who transitioned from the math education field. I first discovered the joys of programming as a student back in 2014, using Python to analyze data from physics experiments. Dazzled by the possibilities, I quickly began applying my coding skills to other interests such as math and gaming. After several years of math teaching and tutoring, in 2022 I decided to pivot my career and bring coding back to the forefront by consolidating my skills through an intensive web development bootcamp at Lighthouse Labs. Armed with new knowledge of JS, HTML, and CSS, I am ready to take on whatever challenges await! I am driven to learn new concepts and work well in collaborative settings.
When I'm not coding, you can find me folding origami or playing guitar.
